SIC
Hello, I’m Zhiheng Jin (Henry)
I am a master’s student at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), working on robot dynamics, modelling, planning, and control. My research focuses on robotic systems operating in complex environments, especially dual-arm manipulators for free-flying and space applications.
I am also interested in using computer vision to support robotic perception and manipulation, as well as data-driven modelling methods—including Koopman operator theory—for control, prediction, and a better understanding of nonlinear dynamical systems.
Research Interests
- Robot modelling, motion planning, and control
- Dual-arm manipulators and free-flying space robots
- Data-driven modelling and Koopman operator methods
- Computer vision for robotic perception and manipulation
- Nonlinear system identification and prediction
Background
I grew up in Shandong, China. I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aircraft Design and Engineering from Shenyang Aerospace University. I began my undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering before transferring to Aircraft Design and Engineering, a path that gave me a broad foundation in mechanics, aerospace systems, and robotics.
